BE A "DRUM MAJOR FOR FULL DEMOCRACY" FOR DC IN THE 2005 PALISADES 4TH OF JULY
PARADE!
WHEN: Monday, July 4, 2005, 10:15 AM - 12:00 PM
WHERE: Intersection of Whitehaven Parkway and MacArthur Boulevard, NW
Time: 10:15 AM - 12:00 PM
March with Stand Up! this year. Stand Up! won the award for "most creative" in
2004 and got the message out regarding the lack of full democracy in the
nation's capital on the anniversary of the nation's independence day. Wear
your FREE DC! gear or our traditional colonial/plantation wear. Line up for
the parade begins at 10:15 AM at the intersection of Whitehaven Parkway and
MacArthur Boulevard, NW past Georgetown. The parade will begin promptly at
11:00 AM and proceed north up MacArthur Boulevard to the Palisades Park.
Music and food served for free at the parade's end!
